JMAZ Group is a California-based manufacturer of professional lighting, truss and rigging, and LED video display solutions, bringing together JMAZ Lighting, JMAZ Professional, ThunderZ, and BrightBox. Our brands serve distinct communities across entertainment and professional production, connected by a shared emphasis on practical design, customer service, and lasting relationships.

Our corporate home is in South El Monte, California. JMAZ Europe GmbH in Stapelfeld, Germany, extends that foundation into Europe, while our dedicated showroom in Commerce, California, brings customers and partners closer to the work of our brands.

Curiosity at our core.

JMAZ Group began in 2015 with JMAZ Lighting and an understanding of the everyday needs of DJs, mobile entertainers, and event professionals. Listening to customers helped shape a business centered on usefulness, value, and responsive service.

The company’s technical roots reflect founder Jason He’s early interest in electronics, from taking things apart and putting them back together to repairing his grandmother’s radio. He later earned degrees in computer science and electrical engineering at the University of California, San Diego, bringing that hands-on curiosity into the business.

The JMAZ name connects its founder’s initial with the idea of maximizing value and serving customers from A to Z. That philosophy continues to inform how JMAZ Group approaches its work and its relationships.

In 2019–2020, a shift toward wholesale and dealer partnerships created more room to focus on development. As the business expanded into a broader family of brands, those relationships remained central to its growth. Today, JMAZ Group connects its brands, people, and partners through operations in the United States and Europe.
